Chinese again, if matte bases, although the tiny is a little more unusual

With regard to these paperweights the very small millefiori has a gold leaf effect on the bottom and the talles has a clear base not matte at all, does this make a difference?

Not all Chinese weights have matte bases. Quite a few these days are very well finished.
I collect Scottish and Italian paperweights and anything else that strikes my fancy.
