trying to id sig

Hi all..i could not make out this sig on bottom of vase..so i dusted it with chalk (it washed off fine) certainly made the sig clearer..but i dont know what it says > anyone know ?

That looks like a fairly modern signature from Mdina.

It is not what you might expect as Mdina but I have seen it many times before and your vase looks very much like a piece of Mdina too.
