Whenever one starts posting in a new forum, it takes a while to get to know people and adjust to members' styles of communicating, and little idiosyncracies. Likewise, it takes the people in the forum a while to get to know a new member. It can be a rough transition, but worthwhile in the long run.
It's also very easy to misinterpret and to be misinterpreted, and it pays to develop a thick skin!
P.W. Modern's posts didn't strike me as rude so much as defensive. I think she has the right idea about confining discussion to the glass.
Speaking of which...I'm probably imagining things, but it seems like the transition between the dark outer layer and the violet color is quite sudden, and it makes me wonder if it is actually double cased. Could you please post a close-up of edge of a window, just to humor me?
