Pressed glass desert dish
« on: July 31, 2009, 03:04:08 PM »
Not sure what to call this one, desert dish is the my best effort. Pressed glass from a four part mould with nice swirly sort of flower pattern. 13cm tall and 10.5cm in diameter.

This was a present from a friend who was visiting his brother in Sweden, bought because he knew "I liked pressed glass". Which is true, but I also like the work of Ernest Gordon for Afors ..... ;D

I keep thinking that this design is very familiar but I have checked all my books (several times) and looked around t'internet but so far no joy. Any ideas?

Thanks, John.
