Interesting how the spell checker does not flag up 'fleabay'. :D

Isn't the spell checker only supposed to correct mistakes?????

I have been told that glass is my mistress......

, Christine - found my book, the pics of the stoppered pot vase and large cylinder ARE labelled Gold Aurene, with the brown on top. The words make it clear too, but also say that the distinction was sort of abandoned around '75 because of the difficulty of maintaining the distinction (but he did use the word "predominantly" - I knew it had stuck in my brain cell in an Aurene context!).
Mark also says that in larger pieces, the colours are often not so strong, because of getting thinner as the piece is blown, so possibly the smaller pieces are actually more attractive than the large ones. If you like your colours dense, which I do.
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)
