Opalescent Glass bowl, unkown maker
« on: August 23, 2009, 05:21:38 AM »
Hello, here is a link to an opalescent glass bowl recently sold on eBay. Does anyone know the maker?

I have seen these offered as Rene' Lalique, however, I have been assured it is not.

Thank you.

Hi

this is one that has remained determinedly anonymous

never known anyone managing a good answer to this one

Except, admittedly, there is a reasonable chance it was made at the jobbing glass works 'Choisy-le-Rois' -but at that stage -1930s- they only 'produced' for other houses - and some of their customers were very small and obscure!

sorry

Mike
