Job lot, Number 2 - large orange bowl
« on: August 26, 2009, 12:55:30 PM »
Hello All,

This next bit of glass is a large orange bowl, the bottom of the bowl is clear, the upper part a very 70's orange.
The base has no pontil mark at all just smooth glass.

Cheers David

Looks very Chribska-ish to me

funnily enough, I enquired about a bowl that was given to me last week and Chribska was mentioned, but that bowl had a polished pontil mark, this one is flat underneath, would glass from Chribska have both types of finish? I also found a bowl very similar to the one last week claiming to be Chribska and stating a name for the designer but could get no confirmation on that bowl or designer.
Cheers for helping,
David

I don't think Chribska used circular, indented polished pontil marks; effectively a flat polished base is where the pontil mark has been removed.

Which bowl last week? Please link to the thread
