Chippendale or not Chippendale, that is the ?
« on: September 13, 2009, 04:54:30 PM »
Acquired these 3 pieces recently, the jug has a mark on the base of the jug which I have never seen before.  Doesn't appear to be Davidson's mark or Krys-Tol.  Any ideas anyone?

The bottles have no marks to base and unsure whether they are scent bottles or oil and vinegar?

Taaaaa

Jen

Hi

the pair of Scents are from the standard Chippendale dressing table set

quite probably made by Davidsons

Always thought it interesting that, as the design is American, the dressing table set came with American bits. There aren't very many other glass British dressing table sets with scent bottles.

cheers
