Kralik maybe?

Have a couple of bowls similar that are Kralik,this seems to have a different finish and colour,9 inches across,smooth pontil,Keith.

I think it's not to Kralik -but at any time that's a brave statement -they were so diverse.

Might even be English (and hence out of my expertise)

There are a lot of green strapped similar bowls about that are quite brand new -but I've never seen a purple one

Does it have much wear on the bottom?

It does have a fair bit of wear,the other bowls I have were sold as possibly 'Richardsons' I was then led to believe they were 'Palme Koenig' since then I have been reliably informed they are Kralik so this one is still a bit of a puzzle,should probably email Alfredo,ta Keith.
