Topic: i.d. please for possible Czech vase

from this morning's sortie  -  and thought that it might have been an example of 'neodymium'  -  which seems to be avoiding me so far.  Has a lovely lilac/pink tint  -  but despite running around the house to expose to various kinds of light it doesn't seem to change.   I was waiting for it to go blue somewhere along the line??  Quite big - 25.75 cms. tall and about 18.25 cms. at the widest, with some reasonable wear on the rim of the foot.   It has these occasional frosted lenses.    I'm thinking Czechoslovakian  -  it has a reasonable 'bird bath' base although I don't see anything too close in Mark Hill's book  -  just a thought, but with these lenses might it have a little in common with some of the designs by Vizner for Libochovice.    Sure I am wrong so grateful for some guidance please, and thanks for looking.    Paul S.

I've got that one somewhere and mine certainly wasn't neodymium.  I thought it could've been Czech too and was sure I'd put it on the board, but can't find the thread.  It was quite a while ago, so I might've just sent a photo to Marcus at that time.

I had high hopes of a quick attribution for this one, but obviously the Gods were against me, although I have a feeling the design is not that old, and just thought it might have been an easy one (how wrong can you be).     So when I saw the smaller blue vase on Sunday morning, I just had to buy it, to keep the other company     Compared to the larger version, the blue vase is only 165mm tall, but is an exact design copy  -  I still believe it is Czechoslovakian, and I hope someone might be able to give me an id please, and thanks for looking.

The pink one is reasonably old, i.e., made before full automation, because of the ground base rim.

I do appreciate your quick reply, and think I must apologise for not making it clear that the base of the blue one, whilst smaller (obviously), is identical in design to the larger one  -  i.e a ground outer rim (with reasonable wear/scratches).     When you say "reasonably old", are you able to be a little more specific.       My thanks again for your help, as always.

Michelle - I suggest you pay me a lot of money for my blue one, then you will have a pair  -  and you know what they say about a pair always worth more than 2 x 1.      Although you don't say, are we to assume that you don't have an id for yours also
