Beyermann & Co
« on: September 14, 2009, 12:20:04 AM »
This piece has been attributed to Beyermann & Co, Haida, Bohemia.
There seems to be very little information on Beyermann & Co out there. I have found other examples of glass attributed to them on the internet but that is all. If you have any information on Beyermann I would appreciate it if you would share it.
Thanks.
Mac

Mac, there's a snippet here translated from Czech (courtesy of Google Translate):
Quote
Company Beyermann & Co.. Haid was founded in the year 1865 and was active until *30 let 20 century. The first production consisted mainly of commercial glass. After 1930, the glass factory output has focused on creating free. Only a small proportion of the goods has been signed.
* This seems to mean 1930

Apparently the privately owned Archiv Werner Kittel holds information on Beyermann if anyone has the means to contact them:
