Small waisted blue bowl
« on: September 18, 2009, 11:01:18 AM »

Hi, I've had this little bowl for a while, Its 2 inches high (5cms) 3 and a half inches across the top (9cms). Its a mottled blue/turquiose colour and has loads of little bubbles some like little pin pricks. Haven't got a clue on this one.  Any ideas anyone?

Those in the know might call me crazy (it's been done before), but the colouration reminds me of my monart basket. Frank, are you around?

I don't think it's Monart.
I think this is the stuff that looks like Nazeing, but isn't, the stuff that is nearly always labelled "Scottish Glass", but nobody has actually been able to identify it, to my knowledge.
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

Earth without art is just eh.
