Ball vase with bubbles
« on: September 21, 2009, 03:39:01 PM »
When I bought this pale amber vase it reminded me of my Borske ball vases as the top is cut the same way. But this one is smooth and has red spots all over the bottom!! ;D The spots or splodges seem to be in the glass. It has controlled bubbles all over exept the bottom.
The base has a lot of wear so its been around a while. Is it Borske or something else please, its 5 and a half inches tall, (14cm)    Thanks, cheryl

I doubt it's Borske Sklo, that was generally factory mould blown and then hand finished, yours is hand-made.
