It has no markings, and I suspect quite modern, but would be great to be wrong.  Has anyone seen this before?

It's 5" across by 2.5" tall.

TIA

Hi Stu,
it´s a tea warmer you have there, also known as a rechaud or stövchen (here).
Some german manufacturers produced / sold them.
There are umpteen variations around, so this will possibly be hard to pin down
until we find a labelled one.
Possibly made in Zwiesel for WMF or by Georgshütte in Boffzen...

Thanks Dirk!  I bet that it will look quite nice with a little nightlight in it, especially as today looks like mid-winter!

Really appreciate your help!

Stu, I haven´t checked here on the board. Perhaps you´ll find
an ID´d one by using the search option.

I'd say it's Georgshütte - I have a very similar labelled one here.

Thanks Anne (I need a T shirt with that on it!  :))

Have just put a nightlight in it - very pretty.

... we found a labelled one.
BTW is a nightlight the same as what we call tea-light here? - just curious
