Oh so solly for the misspelling... and the reference to the design period was given to me by a Swedish
glass dealer at Newark.. I was told she done freelance designs after her period at Rejmyre. He must have been misinformed
too maybe.

Very much so, I'm afraid. Ms. Bratt died in 1961, if memory serves, so any post-Reijmyre freelance work is unlikely.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your comments, I see your vase is very similar.  What information is on the sticker of your vase..? - Are they produced by 'Reijmyre', just the specific designer that is in question...? :)

Hi Greg and all interested party's.. Just come across this link that shows this type of vase in blue with a very interesting label. I have seen this vase with horizontal ribbing that has the same dimensions as the Reimjyre vases I have. I have a customer in New Zealand who has a collection of these vases in blue and green the largest being 330mm in height. So it seems these patterns were made in three sizes and two colours so I hope this has solved the original Whitefriars? vase (see top of page) mystery.. In my opinion I still believe it to be a Reimjyre vase and not a rare Whitefriars piece.

Thanks very much Paul, all very interesting. Would you attribute the production of these to the 1950s...?

Thanks again for all your info and thoughts.

Regards,
Greg

The original design yes but probably produced into the 1970s as Nick pointed out Monica Bratt was at Reimjyre till 1958.. style wise I would guess it was one of her later designs. Regards Paul.
