Hineri Candle Stick Holder...Id Confirmation???...
« on: October 15, 2009, 02:15:13 AM »
Hi... i bought this some years ago...the seller said it was a Hineri...really just want confirmation if possible...its 18cm high by 7.5cm x 7.5cm...5 layers of glass...clear glass (possibly frosted)...white glass (i think the white layer is making the clear layer frosty)...deep green followed by rich amber...then cased in clear...has three circles of air bubbles...extremely heavy piece...still not quite sure if this is either hand blown or mould blown...any help on this also would be highly appreciated... ;D

Did Hineri sell outside of New Zealand and Australia? The great majority of the references I've seen are to pieces from there Sorry to ask a question rather than answer one.

From what I have seen...no...this is most definitely one of there better pieces if it is a Hineri...there is no reference to any pieces from the search i have done on GMB...my google searches have provided nothing (unless i want to see ebay pieces or learn a karate move ::) )...most of my information is on pieces i have seen about at flea markets or op shops...still searching about the company though and will hopefully learn more about there work and pieces!!!...

It might even be that the glass was sold under the Hineri import label only in Australian & NZ? The language barrier doesn't help.
