ARE THESE HURRICANE CANDLE HOLDERS? ANY ID THANKS

hi all
had theses a while now were told when we brought them they were called hurricane candel holders.
they are 9 inches high. one weighs 883 grams and the other weighs 911 grams. any info who made them and were there from would be great. kim & ed

Look like celery vases to me... I'd be thinking Victorian, maybe 1860s-1900 ish. Don't recognise the pattern though.
