Ball decanter
« on: October 22, 2009, 08:55:52 PM »
I have trying to locate the origin of this globe/ball decanter in smokey colour.  The rim is slightly distorted as is the base as it wobbles when knocked.  I originally thought that the body was smooth but I can feel bands all the way up.  Also bands/ribbs on the foot.  Smooth shiny base slightly concaved with a central circular pattern which is slightly rough more mottled than rough actually. Any thoughts please.
