hexagonal faceted vases in clear and yellow: Moser ?
« on: November 17, 2009, 04:03:49 PM »
In recent days - one after the other - these vases creep up as attributed to Frank Lloyd Wright who actually made some designs for similar vases for the Leerdam Glassworks:

One of the sellers (the one with the yellow one) first put it up as "possibly Moser" which doesn't sound very unlikely.

Anyone ?

small 15 cm. Panel cut citrine vase may be ZBS or Desna. The FLW prototype which never went into production is half a meter high - one of the reasons it was unproducable.

... I know it's not FLW and it is for that reason that I would like to know where these vases were / are produced.
... will look into Desna and ZBS ... thanks Ivo  ;)

... further to this - old but for me again puzzling - question. A similar item can indeed be found with a ZBS (Zelezny Brod Sklo) sticker:

I find it however difficult to get to know more details from any original source. Anyone ?  ???
