Danielle:

This is the kind of piece that I would take a chance on without being certain what it was. It looks very Czech, but not Sklo Union, which is only used in connection with pressed glass. I don't know about Klinger, but I would look at Mstisov, Zelezny Brod, or Skrdlovice. It's not in any of the books I mentioned in the other post.

A clearer picture from a couple of different angles would help. I'm sure that others might recognize it.

Good start!

David

PS The other possibility is Borocrystal. I'm not exactly narrowing it down, am I?

PPS Here's an eBay listing for a book I mentioned on the other thread. http://cgi.ebay.com/Czech-Glass-1940s-to-1980s-sale-Prague-Nov-22-catalogue_W0QQitemZ120493182426QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item1c0df40dda

Danielle, you can add up to 4 pics to each post, rather than have to post each one separately. See our help / how to for pictures topic here:
http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,6522.0.html

I've merged your two topics about this item to keep all the info in the same place.

Not Klinger (he worked for ŽBS) but Chřibská. The name of designer is not known to me for the moment.
