Just to add, according to Marcus Newhall in Sklo Union Art Before Industry (page 19) they were made from the 1930s until the factory's closure which I think was in the 90s.

They are nice, bought one last year from a fellow board member (ebay purchase), sadly for him, but happily for me it went cheap. Still don't know what to do with it though, maybe yet another gift of glass this Christmas for some lucky member of my family. I wonder if they are tired yet of receiving glass as presents. ;D

Thank you everyone for the information. I got lucky and won the one for $50.00. I saw the one listed for $199.99, and thought that was a little high!

It really is a beautiful piece, with a lot of character. I am very fond of it!
