Is this a Sklo Union Ashtray?
« on: December 04, 2009, 04:08:30 PM »
Any information appreciated.

I thought this might be quite a common Sklo piece, and might easily be identified.

Thanks in advance,
Stu.

The Czech spelling is with 1 "L" English is with 2, if I remember correctly from when I was working on the database.
If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.

The GlassExport catalogues show it as Pollax with two LL's so to be on the safe side, I'd suggest using both spellings in any listing, Stu.

The word Pollax is not Czech at all  ;D
In Czech language is never used double L

BTW, thanks very much  Norman for CD, arrived OK
