Help with identifying this glass piece and a date of creation?
« on: December 12, 2009, 01:53:09 AM »
It seems to be by FRANTISEK VIZNER based on the signature on the bottom. Can someone help me with this?

I am interested in its value also if that is possible.

Thanks,

Rob

A plate like yours is in the Beranek catalog at www.beranekglass.com. It is identified as being designed by Vizner and has a number of 20 1976 27/40. Perhaps the 1976 is the year it was originally made and production continued for many years after. Judging from the word Czechoslovakia, your plate was made sometime before 1993.
