Art Deco perfume bottle unknown maker..Lalique?
« on: December 27, 2009, 06:26:09 AM »
Hello, can anyone help identify the maker of this perfume bottle. It looks very much like a Rene' Lalique piece, however, it is not signed.

Many thanks.

hi

difficult to tell with poor pictures I'd say high probability that the stopper is from a Chypre R Lalique scent bottle

whereas the scent bottle looks like a marriage

cheers

Mike

Hello,

The people at rlalique.com assure me this is not Rene' Lalique. I did think the stopper and the flacon did not go together. I cannot find anything on the internet regarding a R Lalique Chypre stopper with lizard design.

Many thanks

Alas

Not all Rene Lalique can be found on the net

Coty - 19 Flacon Chypre designed 1912 by Rene Lalique

These stoppers are at least very similar I cannot tell from photos is the stopper is an original or copy

Rlalique.com were probably referring to the scent bottle itself
