Topic: Amethyst optic ribbed cloche or bell - I think!

Hi everyone

Have finally got round to sorting some of my garage out and will be putting a few bits on in the next day or so. So, to start with - this is not a bell it seems to be some sort of cloche or cover. It's about 5" in height. What's it for, who's it by and how old is it. Any ideas please?

Have had a quick look at stirrup cups - haven't seen anything that resembles it - but a possibility. Will keep searching.
