About 10inches high Pontil mark. Striations of blue/green with pale lilac flecks. Thanks

Hi, would it be possible for you to take a picture of the base showing the pontil please and if possible against a white background where the colours show up?
Seeing the base can help with id'ing pieces  :)

Ps  have taken the above picture without flash as it shows an underlying 'brown' in darker light.  This picture is with flash.

Please be patient, bumping after only a couple of days isn't necessary. After a month, fine, but two or three days is way too soon. Not everyone visits the board every day and it can take a while for the right person to comment.

An American chain store called "Pier Imports" used to sell glass like this in the 80's; it was made in East Germany.  But that's just a guess.  I do specifically recall the East German pieces had the same pontil, in addition to coloring.  Good luck.

They do...  and they shouldn't... and if they read the Board's Policy topic they wouldn't... perhaps! ;)  http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,6521.0.html

A pretty vase, it could be from a small studio, or factory, anywhere in the world?
You may get lucky and someone will have seen that pattern before,
I feel without a signature or label, you may not find a maker :'(
Cheers
