Hmmmmm - it does not look like any WMF technique I've ever seen, it has more of a  French deco feel. The electric fitting has to be WMF - I recognise that.  Is the edge flanged to match the screw fitting - or straight up and drilled?

Ob die Vase als Vase gebaut wurde, also mit geradem Hals, oder als Lampenfuss mit Flansch om die Abdeckhaube zu montieren? Im ersten FAlle wurde in dem Hals wahrscheinlich Löcher nachgebohrt... Montur ist ja eindeutig Ikora, aber Fuss glaube ich nicht. :P

No - what is needed to be WMF is some reference that WMF made not just the electrical & metal bits but also the glass.  I've never seen sandblasted or acid resist glass from WMF - so to me it looks like a mariage. At least if it has a flange to hold the mounting it would mean it was made as a lamp foot, and not as a vase which was later converted.

Ivo, you  say: the mounting, metal bits, flange are WMF - and the base is not a vase - a marriage then of whom?
I still like to post it as a etched and carved STUDY of WMF - all Ikora were studies first  :x

Ikora glass is defined as two or more layers with colour inclusions ("Zwischenschichtglas"); Ikora used a variety of colour powders, silver nitrate, foil etc.  
The vase you are showing here is a single colour with a sandblasted or acid resist decoration technique which I have never seen from WMF - certainly not under the name Ikora.  
Nothing remotely like it is found in the Jörg Schwand book.
I am willing to believe that the double fitting was made by WMF - it is the same type used in IKora lights.
I just asked the question, was the foot designed as a lamp or as a vase?

Ivo, I know regarding Ikora glass, but Ikora was also a WMF metal line - etched by the way ;o)
my lamp foot is not the common Ikora, it is not Myra, it is just a study of their Werkstätten I think?
