Green Goldish Color Bowl (or Ashtray??)
« on: February 09, 2010, 12:19:12 AM »
Hi there, just bought this a few hours ago at a Sale.  I have no idea about it, but I just like the flow of it...and another piece to add here to my collection (...Arggg...its a disease...).  It is about 10.25 inches long, 7 inches wide, and about 3 inches at the highest point.  I was thinking (??) maybe Chalet (??) but not sure.  Any other ideas?  It is a very good heavy weight.  I do think it is vintage, so it might be an ashtray (?) or a bowl.  The glass is quite thick..

Thanks, and Sorry for not being around for a while....missed YA!

It is an extremely lovely large bowl or a party ashtray. Probably useful as both.  >:D

Leave it here for a bit longer and maybe the mods could move it later for you if you can get a more precise country id for it.

Welcome back.

Not Chalet. Could be Murano or Scandinavian or ?,  but I don't think you'll get an attribution as to maker.

Thanks for the reply....

Maybe it can be moved to see if any Murano or Scandinavian people know, as I sure do not know...??  But I like it!  ;)
