Blue tubular vase
« on: February 11, 2010, 11:45:13 PM »
This vase is quite tall and unusual to the most common ones you see today.  The vase measures 20.5cm in height, The top 5.8cm dia. and the base 5.8cm dia.  There is a pontil within the base that measures 1.8cm dia. and is rough.  There is a rim around the outer part of the base and this measures approx. 0.4cm wide.  From the inner rim to the pontil is slightly polished and then as it gets closer to the pontil minute impressions all around the pontil.   Can anyone help identify this vase.  Many thanks!
