Smile for the Birdy!!!
« on: February 13, 2010, 07:23:00 PM »
Wasn'r sure if this should go here or on paperweights .... I'm such a novice!!!

Any ideas in my very beautiful birdy????

The fusion of grey/green glass in head back and tail to clear in the body gives a lovely effect I think.

The photo slave takes a good snap!

Height 2 3/4" Length 5"

Here will do nicely. Paperweight folk do have a thing for "paperweight-related items" but that does not normally include animal figures etc. (unless they are smothered in interesting millefiori canes, of course).

I'm not sure, but I would say Vincenzo Nason based on the glass, color pattern, and eyes. V Nason is a Murano company.
