Blue Vase Small
« on: February 14, 2010, 12:16:17 AM »
This is a stunning little vase.  Probably designed for roses.  I have seen similar but this is unusual in shape as it has two sides that are directly opposite to each other and run from the top of the vase and blends in when it reaches the base.  I am not sure if this is cased.  The vase measures 18cm in height the the top dia. is 1.8cm. but with the sides that stand proud the measurement is 2.2cm.  The colour at the base is dark and then fades as it reaches the top.  It is a unusual looking blue.  Can anyone identify this vase and provide any information as to the originator and probable age. I apologise for the poor quality pics.  I will try tomorrow and see if I can improve on them.  Kind Regards
