Crystal Sugar bowl?
« on: February 14, 2010, 01:41:29 AM »
This is a beautiful bowl.   Measuring 18cm in height. The bowl is square and the sides measure 10cm.  The bowl sits on four stands as seen in pictures.  The bowl is displayed with an array of patterns that when in light stands proud.  Can anyone identify by providing leads as to the originator and age.  Kind Regards

I have one of these and when we discussed it last year (off the board), Angela and I thought it might be a Princess House piece. Probably a trinket / powder bowl rather than a covered sugar.

I now think this is by Warmensteinach - see the catalogue on Pamela's site here:
http://glas-musterbuch.de/Warmensteinach-1975.142.0.html and a candy / sugar bowl.
