HELP WITH ART DECO
« on: February 25, 2010, 05:25:08 PM »
Hello all
I have been asked to dispose of a large quantity of Art Deco glass, fortunately I do have some good reference material but despite my searches these two pieces allude identification. Wonder if anyone can help.

Hi,
I warmly recommend to bookmark Pamela´s great sites pressglas-pavillon.de and glas-musterbuch.de.
Both bowls can be found there.
Number one is a Brockwitz centerpiece:

Number two isn´t ID´d yet, but bears a strong resemblance to some Walther designs:

Regards,
Dirk

Hi Dirk
Many thanks
Crazy thing is I do have Pamelas bookmark and thought i had looked through it....glass blindness I think.
I agree the second one has all the look of Walther.
Thanks again

Hi,
I just wanted to make clear I´m not suggesting it is or might be Walther. Just wanted to point
out the similarity to the ´Orient´ design.  :)
