I don't know if it is or not as I haven't a piece to compare but I read that as Langham quite clearly possibly with some numbers or letters after the 'm'?  The 'ham' don't appear as clear as the Lang in the photo but I can see they are there.

Thanks Flying free you may be right. It does however appear less like Langham in the flesh then it does in that picture. Also the Lan part seems to be a separate word - maybe my migraine is not helping me either.

I dont think its Langham at all, the it looks to be at least 2 words the first ending with the "n" and the second word begining with the "g"
apart from that im afraid im no help as i have no idea what it is sorry
