Small faceted pot
« on: March 01, 2010, 08:24:44 PM »
Hi all,  I bought this little faceted pot or vase today, it only cost £1.25 but it seems nice quality. It is dark amber, yellow and clear. Very heavy for the size. 3 inches high (just under 8cms) It has a very smooth base but the inside has a dull line sort of polished in the inside neck. This line is not even so I was wondering if this is supposed to be there. Any info welcome. Thank you Cheryl

Hi Cheryl,
Murano Mandruzatto looks a strong possibility,

They have been making similar for 50 years.

Try copying it and pasting it into your browser. It's the right address but doesn't seem to link properly

hi     I think it must be Mandruzatto, It looks the same as some of the shapes on the website. I'm wondering if mine might have once held a lighter and that is what that strange uneven mark is for on the inside.       Cheryl
