Retro Purple Tumblers with 'Centipede' (?) Signature
« on: March 06, 2010, 03:27:27 PM »
I've come across 4 tumblers with what looks like (but isn't) a centipede signature on the base (or, to be more accurate, a centipede with only one row of legs). The glasses look to me like they 'could' be by Stennett-Willson for Lemington but I'm not sure and as I certainly don't recognize the signature, I'm anxious to know what others think.

Thank you!

We need a picture of the signature too please. All pictures are better against a plain background

These are machine-made, and the mark to the base is just a by-product of the moulding process rather than deliberate branding. I've a set of these in grey for everyday use, all with the same 'squiggle'.

I suspect they're French.
