aj — Bagley 3121/3
Alexandra oval dish, launched 1939, available in 8-rose and 10-rose versions, plain or with two curved divisions dividing the interior into three sections. I don't know whether all four possible combinations of mould and plunger were made.
SAFETY NOTEPlease don't refer to it as a serving dish. That
could give the impression to someone that it is safe to use for serving hot food, or even that it could be used in an oven (or freezer). Such use would be dangerous, potentially with horrific consequences. It is ordinary soda glass, not Pyrex, and should only be used for food reasonably close to room temperature. Better something along the lines of "cocktail dish", "hors d'oeuvres dish", or even just "dish".
