Identification: Rich amber pressed glass vase #2
« on: March 21, 2010, 10:12:13 AM »
Can you please identify this vase? It stands approx 190mm tall and weighs 675g.

Beliveded to be 1930s Art Deco. Has considerable age-related wear to base.

Thank you

Hi,
perhaps August Walther ´Trafalgar´, see Pamela´s great sites:

The catalogue gives a height of 20cm, but 19cm should be within normal
irregularity for pressed glass, I suppose.
Regards,
Dirk

Thank you Dirk. I remeasured it and 20cm is correct. I am happy to accept the attribution and thank you for reminding me of Pamela's museum ... I am regular visitor, but missed the Trafalgar vase.
