small contemporary? vase with applied amber trail

I was wondering if anyone recognised this small vase.  It's very neatly made 8cm high 7cm wide , the base sort of curves in and up (rounded) into  the middle pontil mark which is smoothed but left not polished.
Thanks in advance for any leads.  :)
