Small scottish bowl ???

Nice little thing very nice colours and good weight couple of small areas to base where its been finished measures approx 6" wide and 2.5" tall wondering whether its my first scottish piece or a bit of tat from china!! :chky:

can you post pictures of the base please - sorry, I don't think I could help but base pictures can be important in helping to identify.
Also have you looked at Frank's fabulous Monart site at all?  I think there are pictures of some Scottish glass there also other than Monart which may help and certainly some makers names.
hope this helps a bit, sorry I can't help more but it's not my thing.

Can't resist - No, it's not a bit of tat from China, it's a bit of tat from Scotland.

(It's a basket, {shudder} I don't like the colours, particularly that awful distemper green and I'm Scottish so I'm allowed to be rude about it.  :P )

Thanks for taking my comment so well - it's Vasart, I take it? I far prefer Strathearn and Monart - I like the stronger colours. It is just a matter of personal taste.
My OH thinks the only use for Vasart is as a target for stones. Personally, I'd use paperweights......
