THREE PIECES OF CLEAR UNIDENTIFIED GLASS
« on: April 09, 2010, 09:41:43 AM »
Hi, I am always picking up pieces of heavy glass with no knowledge of what they are.  It is becoming a really bad habit!!  I have three things - a square footed vase (looks pressed), a boat shaped pinwheel bowl (looks like crystal with smooth polished base) and a heavy tall narrow vase which reminds me of those french ruby and clear vases.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks.

Number one is rather perfunctory Bohemian, number 2 I leave for anyone interested in pressed glass, and number 3 you identified correctly: Cristal d'Arques, also available in partial ruby.
