Got A Challenge For Ya - Uranium Goblets
« on: April 17, 2010, 03:52:27 PM »
I have tried to get info on this Vaseline piece for awhile now with no luck. They do glow under a blacklight. I have several reference books and did internet research but no go. Can any of you experts identify this piece? The goblets are made from thin glass and are hollow through the middle stem. Some have swirly marks and small bubbles on them from the glass blowing process. I assume they are old due to these characteristics. Possible date on them would be great. Thanks.

These are Roemer (Rummers) for white wine and I would look at Theresienthal in Germany first. With a bit of luck our Theresienthal expert might show up and confirm it.
