Topic: button pontil question

I am trying to identify a vase and struggling.  I wondered if anyone can point me in the direction of makers who made a perfectly shaped smooth button pontil?  I have searched Monart, Vasart, and Strathearn and I believe it is none of those.  Any ideas for where to look next would be much appreciated

Hi  early I.O.W  had what i think they call a coach bolt it looks a bit like a Rowntree fruit gum stuck on the bottm .JP

Here's a picture of an IOW coach bolt pontil stamp. Any chance of a photo of the vase?

thanks Suzy and John.  mmm, not quite the same button as the one on my vase doesn't indent in the middle.  It is just a beautifully finished but only slightly flattened, blob of glass.
Pics now included - I have searched as many things as I can think of but no luck so far.
In my head I thought it might be Scottish because of the colours I think , which I imagine to represent Scotland as it were (heather and green colours).  The pics don't do it justice, I took them outside and it's bleached the colours somewhat.  They are more intensely coloured than they show - very pretty.

Any thoughts appreciated

more pics and size 8" or 20cm high about 3 1/4" or 8cm diameter at widest point.
It is quite heavy as well, the rim measures about 4-5mm thick.

I recognise the glass from the colours, the way they are used and the basic shape as being Alum Bay glass (situated on the Isle of Wight)

I can't find my bits right now, think I must have put them away in the loft, so I can't check the pontil mark, although I don't remember buttons on them, the rest of the way the base is - ie, very thin and indented, could almost be lampwork, but I also see no reason why, at some point, somebody might have not experimented with putting a blob of glass on it. I do believe this is an early-ish Alum Bay design.

I had done Glory Art glass, Alum bay and Isle of Wight as well
I can see it is Alum bay now you've said it is.  I didn't look closely enough at their tall glass shape. 
I had discounted it previously because it seems to be a better finish and quality to the other one I have (eek, I feel embarrassed saying that since I wouldn't have a clue on how to blow glass and admire it all really), the base is actually quite thick whereas my other one is practically see through and much more indented than this vase, and then the pontil which is quite different as the other is cracked off and left rough, and I've never seen Alum bay glass with this breadth or combination of colours.
I shall send them an email and ask if they can give me a production date and name for the pattern.
