Welcome to the board.

Can you post a picture of the weight? and of the signature?

It would help with the ID.

Welcome to the board. We can't do much without pictures: a top view, a side view, a base shot and a close up of the signature (use the macro function).

See here for help with posting pictures http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,6522.0.html
Resizing so the longest dimension is 700 pixels usually works well.

This is prolly silly of me but i traced the signiture since the pictures it wasn't 100% clear
The teal colored marks i made i was not sure if they were scratches or supposed to be a dot (for an I) or one of those funny characters that go above and A sometimes.

Hi mellzer, welcome to the board.  Your paperweight is by Mdina, based on Malta.  If you do a search on the GMB you will be amazed how many Mdina fans there are on here - and fab photos of lots of Mdina pieces too.

Boy i was way off on that signature!

I got my two pieces as a gift from a woman i worked for many years ago.
Im afraid i am about to move from MO, USA to Australia in July and cannot take the pieces with me. They were my favorites out of at least 100!
I very much needed to identify them so i could find a good home.

Thank you so much
