Makora of Poland I think

I have one of these... one of my first buys actually. Spend ages on the internet to find out about it and I think contemporary Poland is correct. I found this link, where it's being sold new, and that gives the Euport company and Jarek Kozlowski as the maker/designer of this sort of glass:

I think Euport would be an importer, not the maker, as that link aslo has Jozephina comports. Do you have a reference to Jarek Kozlowski, Astrid?

I wrote it down while searching in connection with the pattern on the underside of the bowl. As you can see in the first link abov, kozlowski's name is mentioned above in connection with the Macocha range. I found this other link

with his name in connection with handblown vases, one of which has the same pattern (the first beige vase under his name). At the time it was enough to convince me that he was probably the designer and probably the master glass blower the other site mentioned as being in charge of the production. I'm sorry if it's too much conjecture - and of course, it doesn't mean this bowl was produced by that team. I'm afraid I don't know how difficult it is to reproduce that design, and whether other Poland makers thought it was great to copy.

I have to say, I rather like it. I've tried to find a few importers in the Netherlands, but no luck so far.

I think there have been a couple of pieces in this design here already, I've seen it listed (wrongly) as Mdina on ebay and....

yesterday, I saw a large selection of shapes in the gift shoppy bit of an art gallery.
I asked where it came from, if it had any labels, and where it was made.

All they could tell me, looking up their books, was that they got it from Kent.

Large shell platters appear in both Makora and Jozefina online catalogues. They must be very popular - certainly dramatic.

Never found those two when I was searching! Sorry, that will teach me to be more careful with attributing attempts. Ah well, too much doubt place these bowls with any certainty then. Apparently commercial designs spread easily in Eastern European glass making (or in any place and aera, really. Nothing new there)... I wish they would take to using markings of any type.
