I toally agree with Mac. I have several items such as this (with and without metal mounts etc) and in particular the same as your own. I think them ALL gorgeous myself, however even so-called matched pairs still fool me, for each and every one was mold-blown (into a four-part releasing mold) and most were very commercial items of their time. As such, none quite marry-up! To the best of my endeavours, most of these items remain with unpolished or "finished" rims (which still is a laborous task) and the metal mounts of each were then produced by an exterior factory by those companies which imported them. Very few glass companies produced their OWN metal mounts in-house. Glass being their thing, they did just that and left such attachments to others! :spls: Jazz
