Hi all
One from the depths of the garage.
Ok im not to sure what this is, im presuming its some sort of suncatcher?
Its made from clear glass which has a yellow tinge.
One side is smooth, and although rounded fairly flat, the other side is slightly textured and very rounded.
It has a hanging loup at the top, and actually looks (almost) pretty when held up in the sun.
My first ussumption would be Scandi, but then the colour of the glass has a dirty look so im not to sure.
from base to top of loup its 17cms and 16cms wide
no markings of stickers unfortunitly
any ideas to maker or even country?
many thanks
michelle

We've had similar ones before, but I'm not sure we got to the bottom of them.

... whenever I come across these window ornaments I buy them as long as the glass is not too yellow. I had one with an owl, one with 2 birds on a branch etc. etc.

The Kosta Boda attribution is true for at least one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Kosta-Boda-Glass-Window-Ornament-BIRD-Sweden-Label-/220594767799 (I remember the same one from investigating them a couple of years ago) but for the others ... I presume attribution depends on quality

Della ID'd mine as Pukeberg as she has/had a labelled one apparently.
