Flavio Poli vase?
« on: May 09, 2010, 11:52:50 AM »
Good afternoon

I saw this today and bought it.  It wasn't until I got home and thought Murano then the name Flavio Poli jumped into my head.  I google this as nothing in any of my books and very similar but not identical showed up.  Could someone kindly confirm or deny please.  The base is very flat and shiny apart from the scratches.  I was going to put the UV thingy on it but unfortunately the battery cover is missing for it.
Many thanks
Margi

Just to add the pic shows orange but the vase is red fading into a mucky green encased in blue.

Hello again thanks for your thoughts.  Apologies if Flavio is now having a restless sleep.
It stands just 15.5cm tall. A heavy item for its size.
I have taken some better pics (well I think they are better and represent the colours better.  The red is still brighter in reality though.
