I have of course tried to locate this Pamela's site first - but wasn't aware of finding this design, so if anyone does recognize the piece, I would be very grateful to hear.  Height is 5.1/4", and almost 6" in diameter - with a flat star-cut base, and the colour is that oily yellowish-green.   Lots of wear on the base, with understandably one or two flea bites on the bottom.   I have a feeling it may well be British, and if so my thanks to the Mods in advance for moving the post.     As always, thanks for looking.

Pamela
Experience teaches that anyone who begins to collect in any field can feel a change in his soul. He becomes a joyful man filled with a deeper empathy, and a more open understanding moves his soul.

Hi
I have just this morning found a blue vase in the flared out rim version in my cellar boxes!

thanks Pamela and Nige.   Forgive my hesitation, but whilst I appreciate, Pamela, the oval shaped lenses shown on the pieces of the pictures you have posted, I don't see a piece which is a similar in overall shape to mine.    Were you just trying to illustrate these similar lenses? :)   Sorry to seem a bit thick, but of course my sincere thanks.    May I see a picture of yours Nige, please?

1934 catalogue shows a Blumenbowl in that shape

Yours is a Blumenbowl (flower bowl); the 1934 catalogue isn't available on-line.  Some of the ranges had a large number of different items; not every shape or variant was shown in every catalogue, as it was too expensive.
