Topic: Comport - Regd.No.735621 - Clayton Mayers

This comport is marked Regd.No.735621 - registered to Clayton Mayers on 15th Feb. 1928.  It's incredibly heavy weighing 1.3kg. and is 9" diameter.

Is this perhaps the same one seen here in an advert for Jacobean Glass? http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,1800.msg12267.html#msg12267 

If it is, then would this have been made by Inwald?  It has a shiny polished base rim, which Glen states is an Inwald thing.  If it isn't the same as the one shown (I can't make out the details unfortunately) then what is it and who made it please?
